About the Zululand Conservation Trust
The Zululand Conservation Trust is dedicated to protecting the biodiversity and natural heritage of Zululand through a variety of impactful projects. The initiatives include protecting endangered species, habitat restoration, anti-poaching efforts, and community engagement programs aimed at environmental education and empowerment. As a volunteer, you’ll have a hands-on role in this important work, helping to conserve threatened species, support local communities, and create a sustainable future for this incredible ecosystem.
What to Expect: Volunteer Activities and Impact
As a ZCT volunteer, you’ll engage in a wide variety of activities designed to protect and enhance the natural environment. Typical volunteer tasks may include:

- Zululand Rhino Orphanage: Meet the team and rhino orphans at the ZRO.
- Anti-Poaching Support: Meet the K9 unit and join on a tracking experience!
