The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/zululand_conservation_trust\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ZCT\/\">The Zululand Conservation Trust<\/a><\/a>\u00a0is working closely with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/africanpangolinconservation\/\">African Pangolin Working Group,<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/johannesburgwildlifevet\/\">Johannesburg Wildlife Vet Hospital<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/manyoniprivategamereserve\/\">Manyoni Private Game Reserve<\/a>\u00a0to rehome Temminck&#8217;s Ground Pangolins rescued from this trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the hands of poachers, pangolins deteriorate due to dehydration, lack of food and stress. When survivors arrive at\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/johannesburgwildlifevet\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/johannesburgwildlifevet\/\">Johannesburg Wildlife Vet Hospital<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>,\u00a0they receive intensive care and are nursed back to health until they are strong enough to undergo the &#8220;soft-release&#8221; process at suitable reserves (such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/manyoniprivategamereserve\/\">Manyoni Private Game Reserve<\/a>). This is an amazing success story, and it fills our hearts with joy and pride.
